NO.15 GREAT PULTENEY - A QUINTESSENTIAL BOUTIQUE TOWNHOUSE HOTEL IN BATH
WOOLF Interior Architecture & Design were invited to an evening event at Number 15 Pulteney Street, where we were given a grand tour of the hotel. We were struck by the unusualness of the space and how it had been filled with local art pieces. It is an intriguing building which marries the history behind the building in Bath, whilst developing itself as a center-piece for displaying regional art works. The hotel can be found in a beautiful Georgian building on what must be the grandest street in Bath. No.15 Great Pulteney is a quintessentially ‘English luxury boutique townhouse hotel’, which is full of surprises and curiosities.

ELY CATHEDRAL - THE ROMANCE OF THE ROMANESQUE

The Louvre Museum
THE LOUVRE MUSEUM
When WOOLF toured the exquisite Muse du Louvre, we observed that the extraordinary architecture of the Louvre plays off two very different architectural aesthetics: the polarity of the converse and the inverse. The first aesthetic is famous pyramid which is a 20th Century paired down glass pyramid structure that is juxtaposed against an equally famous incredibly ornate 12th Century historic building, which is the original Louvre Palace. The modern converse structure is contrasted against the historic inverse structure.
